WHAT WOULD BE ASKED OF ME?

1. Respond to 15% of total fire alarms within a calendar year

2. Maintain your OSHA training, which equals about 16 hours per year

3. Attend at least 6 of the 12 monthly training sessions

4. Assist in fund raising activities whenever possible

HOW DO I JOIN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT?

1. Stop by the Fire Station and speak with one of the firefighters

2. Get a close-up look at the equipment and vehicles

3. Ask for an application, fill it out and submit it
